Gathered Life
These are the places where larger numbers get together for worship, prayer, Bible teaching and good coffee. This is often on Sundays, and is not just for those who call themselves Christians but also for those who are asking questions about God, life and faith.
Regular Gatherings
Sundays
9am Holy Communion (Christ Church)
A more traditional service of Holy Communion with a rich liturgical rhythm and gospel-centred talk. On Go 4th Sunday we orientate ourselves in prayer and worship for the blessing of our wider communities. We call this, ‘Go 4th Communion’.
10:30 Gathering (St Barnabas)
A welcoming gathering of worship, prayer, and a gospel-focused message. Children are always part of the service, with light activities to help them engage and learn about God. We finish with tea, coffee, and time to connect with one another.
10:45 Gathering (Christ Church)
A relaxed gathering of worship, prayer and gospel-centred preaching. Alongside this, there are fun, age-appropriate groups running for our youngest family members all the way through to Year 9. We always begin in the church, all together; apart from the 1st Sunday of the month when the children and youth start in their respective groups and join the adults later for Communion.
The Orchard, 4pm (St Barnabas)
A relaxed and welcoming time for all ages to eat, play, and grow in faith together. Meeting twice a month at 4pm, we do ‘church’ very differently, sharing a meal, enjoying games, praying, and listening to God’s Word. Whether you’re exploring faith or a regular churchgoer, there’s a place for you here.
Encounter at 6pm (Christ Church)
A relaxed evening of uplifting worship, prayer, a bible reading with a brief reflection and time for discussion. This currently takes place on the 4th Sunday of the month, but we’re hoping to increase its frequency.
Go 4th Sunday (Christ Church)
On the 4th Sunday of the month, rather than gathering for our 10:45 service, we encourage each other to ‘go forth’ to grow community — investing in people prayerfully and creatively around the person of Jesus and priorities of His kingdom. Whether around a meal, a drink, a children’s play-date or any other activity; whether with families, Life Group members, neighbours, colleagues or classmates; it’s about getting together with others to bless them and invest in them, and leaning on God to resource you to do that.
Wednesdays
3pm Worship on Wednesdays (Christ Church)
A warm and structured service of Holy Communion, including hymns, prayer and a sermon.
